Dear Mrs. Chapman,
I am requested by Mrs.
Garnett to ask if you
will favor us by giving us
a five minute speech at
a Banquet to be given by
the Rochester [Political Equality] Club
in the Evening of the 20th of [November]?
We expect to have quite an
enjoyable time. Mrs. Garnett
is expecting to entertain you
during the Convention and
desires to have you remain
her guest until after the Banquet.
An early reply desired.
